Your choice of barrier system tends to depend on what you want to use the barrier for and what type of environment it will be placed in. For instance rope barriers wouldn’t be very suitable for use outdoors to create a pedestrian walkway in a warehouse or factory. For this kind of use a safety barrier or guard barrier would be much more suitable (and safer!). However, this is not to say that rope barriers couldn’t be used outdoors at a VIP event to create an entrance walkway to the main doors.
Rope barriers provide flexibility. The range we have available is traditional in design but it is functional and will not look out of place at sophisticated events or places. Rope barriers provide excellent queue control for museums, restaurants, art galleries, VIP events, theatres and other public events.
The barrier ropes have a soft braid and are available in three timeless colours: red, black and blue. They are supplied ready assembled with a spring closure (hook) which means they are easy and quick to deploy and can be altered quickly without any disturbance to people attending the venue or event.
The barrier posts are available to purchase separately and come in a chrome or a stainless steel finish. They are also available in two different styles: one with a domed top or one with a spherical top. With these posts it is the little touches that make all the difference. Don’t forget that you can also add a sign holder to your barrier if you need to direct or provide information for guests. The sign holder holds any A4 card or paper and could simply be used as a ‘Please Wait Here’ sign.
If you don’t have the room for an end post to compete your barrier system then we do offer a wall eyelet. This can be fitted neatly and discretely to a wall and then the rope can be hooked into it. This may be an ideal solution for places where walkways are narrow or where a rope barrier is required but needs to be as discrete as possible.
