CoSHH Cabinet Product Information

Our new range of Grey CoSHH Cabinets is manufactured in our own factory in the West Midlands. They are manufactured to a premium quality to ensure they meet the strict CoSHH regulations with regards to the storage of hazardous substances.

Ideal Uses

These CoSHH cabinets have been specifically designed for the storage of substances hazardous to health such as chemicals, flammable liquids, biological agents, pesticides etc. In environments where hazardous substances are use secure and appropriate storage must be provided so that after use the substances can be safely stored away.  

Please note that CoSHH does not include lead, asbestos or radioactive substances as these materials have their own regulations.

Technical Features

• The cabinets are manufactured from sheet steel and are fully welded for a strong and durable construction.
• Each cabinet is made secure via two point locking. The innovative ‘no snag’ handles and locking system ensures the top and bottom of the door is secure so that it cannot be prised open.
• They have a hardwearing powder coated finish in dark grey complete with ‘Harmful’ graphic transfers.
• Fitted with adjustable spill retaining galvanised shelves which provide superior spill management.*
• The integral liquid-tight sump encourages the correct handling of spillages through the use of absorbents.*
• The wall cupboards are all pre-drilled for mounting (please note the fixings are not included).

Accessories to Suit Range

Stands are available which are manufactured to suit the CoSHH cabinets. They raise the cupboards off the floor by 500mm. The stands are complete with an adjustable foot so they can be positioned level when on uneven surfaces. The stand is manufactured with a bar running parallel to the cupboard to prevent any twisting in the frame work. They are also powder coated dark grey to create a seamless finish for the unit. Stands are valuable if the hazardous substances need to be positioned off the floor or out of reach of vulnerable persons. They are also ideal to have in order to prevent employees bending down to reach or retrieve hazardous substances. This will prevent any over stretching, unnecessary bending and any risks taken when handling such substances.
