We provide a selection of Guarda chain barriers, which can be used to create a barrier system custom to your requirements. They come as a set, including 6 plastic posts, 10 meters of Polyethylene plastic chain, 10 connecting links and 10 'S' hooks. With each post featuring attachment eyes in 4 positions, this barrier is customisable to fit our space.
We are proud that our Guarda security bollards are corrosion-resistant, thanks to their plastic exterior. This makes them capable of withstanding both indoor and outdoor conditions, increasing their flexibility.

FILLABLE BASE PARKING POSTS
Our most affordable chain post comes with a base which you need to fill manually. Engineered with an opening at the top of the base, the Guarda Fillable Base Chain Posts can be filled with water, sand or even gravel to prevent the barrier from moving freely. As a result, this highly visible barrier is ideal for temporary placement as a pedestrian or car park bollard to prevent unauthorised vehicle access.
The circular base provides a smaller diameter of 300mm, which can minimise the risk of tripping. As a result, this barrier is great in environments where heavy machinery or footfall is likely to be present. This includes temporarily acting as a pedestrian barrier to manage queues for events.
As this barrier requires self-filling, there is the risk of instability if the base is not filled sufficiently. Additionally, water inside the base may freeze in winter, which can be more dangerous to transport and empty.
RUBBER BASE SAFETY POSTS
Our rubber base version of the Guarda Rubber Base Chain Posts have a lower centre of gravity. A hard rubber square base makes this barrier more anti-ram than the fillable alternative.
As no extra materials are needed to make the post stable, this post features a low-height base. As a result, this minimises the risk of tripping over these security bollards. This makes it a great in areas with high footfall, including shopping centres and offices.
The rubber material of this barrier ensures it is long-lasting and able to resist harsh temperatures for a longer period of time. This includes UV rays, making it the perfect indoor and outdoor security bollard.
However, this barrier is heavier to manoeuvre across job sites because of the base being pre-weighted at 2.3kg. Additionally, they come with a higher price point than the standard fillable base we provide.
