Cycle compounds are designed to provide even more security than standard cycle shelters. They often comprise of two cycle shelters positioned opposite each other with high security gates that enclose the compound entirely. Optional canopies can be added to the cycle compounds which secure the compound from above, and prevent the possibility of rain or snow getting into the compound.
A cycle compound offers a number of ways of ensuring your bikes are safe. Firstly, individuals can lock their bikes to the cycle hoops or racks inside the compound by using their own bike lock. And secondly, the gates at the entrance to the compound are lockable enabling you to control access.
Bike Compounds offer greater amounts of cycle parking usually starting at 16 bikes per compound, but can go up to as many as 60 bikes per compound. Our most popular cycle compound is the Kenilworth which features contemporary curved sides and has a robust structure with vandal resistant properties.
