The frame features a coated, high-quality blue painted steel finish for durability over time. In addition, the bench is built for medium-heavy duty use with a 500kg UDL Load Capacity. Whilst there are many widths available, the depth of the bench remains 600mm deep. Functional Bench with Shelves
The TUFF Workbench is the perfect choice for storing your workshop essentials in a busy setting. It features a lower shelf plus a rear pegboard at the back, included as standard. The lower shelf can be used to store tools and equipment with easy access whilst maintaining organisation. In comparison, the rear pegboard is suitable for on-hand tools such as hammers, spanners and your DIY essentials.
Furthermore, the lower shelf is available in both chipboard and wire mesh options, depending on the size you're after and personal preference. We recommend our chipboard shelving for dry areas indoors such as garages, offices and stockrooms. In comparison, the wire mesh shelf is a great solution to provide airflow to reduce damp. In addition, it's suitable for easy sanitation to prevent the buildup of dusts etc. If you are storing small parts such as bolts and drill bits, they could fall through the wire mesh. As a solution, we advise trays and small bins to store all small parts together to prevent getting lost.
Durable Laminate Beech Worktop
This TUFF Workbench is a customer favourite, featuring a durable 32mm Laminate Beech Worktop. This type of work surface is built to withstand daily use and thick enough to resist scratches, cracks and impact from use. Moreover, it is both professional and organised to complement any workshop environment. The beech finish is the perfect worksurface to cope with many projects, including liquids and water resistance.
As this worktop is Laminate Beech, it requires little maintenance compared to a solid beech top. For instance, this work surface can be cleaned with soapy water for an easy clean-up. An additional bonus is that the surface is resistant to grease, oils and liquids.
