BEST-SELLING SPILLZONE STATION 2
The SpillZone Absorbent Station 2 is designed to provide organised and accessible absorbent storage, helping workplaces respond quickly and effectively to spills. This model features a half-size lower cupboard, upper shelving, and roller bars for absorbent rolls. Making it easier than ever to store and access a variety of spill control materials. The cupboard space is particularly useful for storing and replenishing absorbents, ensuring supplies are always close at hand when needed.
With overall dimensions of H1820 × W550 × D550 mm, the station fits comfortably into many workplace environments while still offering generous storage capacity. Spill stations are especially beneficial in areas where chemicals, oils, or other hazardous substances are regularly handled. This makes them a practical addition to workshops, warehouses, factories, and other industrial settings.
We also offer two additional station configurations to suit different operational needs. This includes a full cupboard version and a quick-reach option for faster access to absorbents. The roller bar design allows the station to store absorbent rolls up to 40 cm in thickness, providing flexibility for a range of absorbent products.
Please note that absorbents are not included with this station and are shown in product images for application purposes only.
IMPROVING SAFETY WITH SPILL STATIONS
Additionally, it reduces safety risks linked to spills, ensuring they’re addressed promptly and efficiently to help avoid further incidents and prevent additional accidents. Moreover, the kit is a great solution to hold rolls, sheets and absorbent socks all in one place, so that no matter what the spillage, it can be resolved in the proper process. Furthermore, SpillZone stations are built to Reaction to Fire Classification EN 13501-1 Standards, meaning they are non-combustible for use in many environments.
Providing a dedicated spill response point also helps workplaces work towards meeting COSHH regulations. Ensuring hazardous substances can be cleaned up and disposed of efficiently and responsibly. By enabling faster response times, the station helps reduce the risk of accidents and injuries, including exposure to harmful substances through skin contact and eye contact.
To ensure the correct spill control solution is in place, we recommend that all customers carry out a thorough workplace risk assessment. This helps to determine the type and quantity of spill kits required for their environment. This can help reduce confusion or panic, allowing spills to be taken care of quickly and effectively. Rapid access to absorbents such as pads, rolls, and socks helps contain and clean up spills promptly, preventing them from spreading.

SpillZone Absorbent Station 2 features a durable powder-coated finish with a Germ Guard Anti-Bacterial coating. This eliminates 99% of germs and significantly reduces the risk of cross-contamination. This is great for key touch points on the spill kit, reducing the spread of germs and harmful bacteria in the workplace. This contributes to having a cleaner and more hygienic work environment. The finish is long-lasting with a yellow (RAL 1006) and blue (RAL 5017) colour to stand out in busy work environments.

VERSATILE FOR MANY ENVIRONMENTS
Suitable for a wide range of workplaces, the SpillZone Absorbent Station 2 is built with durability and practicality in mind. It features a robust steel construction manufactured from 0.7 mm mild steel. It features a pop-riveted carcass design that provides strength and stability. This sturdy build quality makes the station particularly well-suited to industrial settings, workshops, and warehouses. Plus other heavy-duty working environments where reliable spill response equipment is essential.
In addition to its durable construction, the unit is non-combustible and complies with Reaction to Fire Classification EN501-1 Certification. This helps to support safety standards in environments where fire performance is an important consideration.
Maintenance is straightforward, as the exterior can be kept clean and hygienic. Simply use regular cleaning using warm soapy water or a foaming cleanser. This helps to maintain a professional appearance and ensure the station remains suitable for workplace use. For long-term performance, the door hinges may occasionally require light lubrication. For this, simply use a small amount of light oil to ensure smooth and reliable operation.
LOCK OPTIONS AVAILABLE
The station features a lockable cupboard designed to safely store absorbents. It is available with two locking options to suit different workplace needs.
The cam lock option is the standard choice supplied with many of our cupboards. It has over 2,000 differs for additional security. Each cam lock is supplied with two keys as standard. It is ideal for environments where access needs to be restricted to authorised personnel only. Moreover, this helps to maintain control over spill response equipment.
Alternatively, the latch lock option is well-suited to areas where multiple operators may need quick access. This option allows users to add their own padlock if required for controlled access. When used without a padlock, the cupboard remains freely accessible. Furthermore, this provides quick access to absorbents by any operator during a spill incident.
Both options provide practical flexibility, allowing you to choose the level of access control that best suits your operational requirements.
