Every TUFF Wall Mounted Shelter features a 4mm PETG covering, ideal for shielding bikes from the elements. Built using thermoplastic, this high-strength material is well-suited for outdoor use. It can withstand harsh outdoor conditions, including wind, rain, and excess moisture. Unlike glass coverings, PETG allows for superior levels of durability whilst offering generous levels of light transmission. As a result, the shelter maintains an airy and well-lit feeling, rather than dark and unsafe.
We have also ensured that our TUFF Shelters are practical. The UV properties of this roof prevent it from discolouring to a yellow tint, even when exposed to the sun permanently. This allows the bike shelter to maintain a professional appearance for longer, reducing the need to replace the shelter. The smooth nature of PETG also helps rainwater to naturally run off the roof, ensuring bikes remain dry whilst they are stored underneath.
Compared to traditional glass or standard plastic shelters, the TUFF Wall Mounted PETG's roof offers heightened levels of resistance against cracking. This is fundamental when this shelter is positioned in high-traffic areas, including outside schools and busy workplaces.

QUICK TO INSTALL
At Direct2U, we wanted to make sure that ease of installation was a central factor in the design process of this TUFF Wall Mounted Shelter. With no two environments having the same ground type, we wanted to provide flexible installation options.
The back of this shelter's roof is easy to attach to any stable wall, including brick. This is done via heavy-duty para-bolts, allowing for the structure to remain dependable. The front legs can be either surface-mounted or embedded in place. Surface-mounting is great for already stable ground, including concrete or tarmac, as well as for temporary placement. Meanwhile, concreting the two legs at a depth of 250mm allows for a more stable and permanent placement, ideal for high-traffic and impact-prone spots.
These shelters are engineered for low-maintenance, whilst delivering high performance. To clean, simply use warm soapy water over the frame and roof, helping to keep the vibrant appearance for longer.

No longer do you need to source them separately, helping to streamline and simplify your installation process.
Designed with secure cycle parking in mind, these hoops cater for a wide variety of locking methods. This makes them not only suitable for traditional bikes, but also electronic bikes and motorcycles! Chains and D-locks can be fitted through the U-shaped hoop with absolute ease, helping to secure your bike in place. This deters potential theft from occurring.
Each hoop is specially designed to accommodate two bicycles at a time, with one bike on each side of the hoop. The number of complementary hoops included with your purchase depends on your selected shelter size. The 2000mm model includes two hoops, the 3000mm version comes with four, and the 4000mm shelter comes with five. Additional hoops are available for purchase if you require additional capacity.
