With no nuts and bolts, every part simply slots together. TUFF Value Workbenches
Our TUFF Value Workbench has a more traditional design. The fully welded end frames are manufactured from 25 x 25 mm steel section and bolted together with 25 x 50 mm square tube profiles for extra rigidity. This strong framework is quick and easy to assemble with minimum effort required. The workbench has a 20mm thick MDF worktop that has a 200kg UDL load capacity. Complete the workbench by attaching the worktop to the framework by tek-screwing through the frame into the top.
TUFF Value Heavy Duty Workbenches
This is one of the most popular workbenches we offer and it’s easy to see why. Its clean appearance and 250kg UDL load capacity makes it a great choice for many workshops and garages. The end frames are manufactured from 50 x 50mm box steel section and are fully welded to add strength and stability. The bench is complete with a folded sheet steel profile with a returned lip. Finally, fix a durable 20mm thick MDF worktop to the top of the frame and your bench is complete! What’s more this workbench is manufactured right here in the UK.
Need some storage in your workshop? Why not make use of the floor underneath your workbench? A workbench with lower shelf will allow you to store parts and tools in a convenient location without them being on the floor.
Is a budget workbench right for the job?
The main difference between these workbenches and our industrial workbenches is that there is less choice of worktops. Also, the design cannot to be customised with a full range of above and below bench accessorises. So, if you are looking at adding bench accessories or need a specific worktop to suit your application we would recommend our Square Tube Benches.
Another key difference between our budget range and our heavy duty workbenches is that they are delivered in knocked down form for on site assembly. Our heavy duty workbenches have fully welded steel frames which give them more strength and means that they can bear a heavier load. Therefore, for more strenuous tasks we would recommend upgrading to one of these options.
